The Walking Liberty Half Dollar is a silver half dollar coin which is equal to fifty cents. It was issued by the United States government. Both observe and reserve of Walking Liberty was designed by Adolph A. Weinman and his mark, "AAW" was engraved under the eagle's wing feathers on the reverse. Walking Liberty Half Dollar were produced from 1916 to 1947 was named after its representation of Liberty on the obverse.
