Small Cents: Lincoln Memorial (1959-Now) Auctions
The original Wheat design was replaced with Lincoln Memorial (on the reverse) on the 150th of Lincoln's birth in 1959. From 1959 until now there were few retouches done on the Lincoln cent in 1960, 1962, 1969, 1970, 1975 and 1982 mainly due to the rising of copper price and mint marks.
