Dolley Madison First Spouse Gold Coin Auctions
The Dolley Madison was the fourth release of First Spouse Gold Coin series honoring the President’s spouses. The coins were released on November 19, 2007 these coins marked the final release of the series for 2007.
The obverse of the coin portrays Dolley Madison who served as First Lady from 1809 to 1817 during the Presidency of her husband James Madison. The obverse which was designed and sculpted by Don Everhart, bears “Dolley Madison”, “In God We Trust”, “Liberty”, the order of the Presidency “4th”, the dates of the Presidential term “1809-1817″ and the date and mint mark “2007 W” inscriptions.
